This is an experimental list of puzzles for the T20 World Cup 2022
The clues fall into three types:
Quick crossword definitional of one or two words
Cryptic clues of three or more words
References to the previous day's games identifying players. The lights for these are highlighted in blue
Clues to players may be definitional ("ENG opener", cryptic "Player operates furnace" = STOKES, or some figures. "37 off 15" would be the batsman who scored 37 in 15 balls yesterday, "Caught Kohli" would be the fielder who caught Kohli. "3 for 18" a bowler who returned those figures, and so on.
